Google Music Beta

My internet connection is currently fully used because yesterday I got an invite to Google Music Beta! :D

For those of you who don't know what this is, it’s basically Google's version of the iCloud: You get storage for 20000 songs. With a small software you sync your music to the web and then you can listen to your music wherever you are, only thing you need is a browser and internet. There even is a really smart and nice android app which allows you to stream music to your phone and save albums if you want to use them offline.

And now I am uploading all my thousands of songs… will actually take DAYS to finish >_<;

So far it's really great! Hope that Google opens the site for everyone soon.

I lately did came across the website Dribbble (no, that's not a typo, there really are three b in the name!) There you can find many great new "shots"of running projects from various artists, designers and more.

Now, to be able to post such shots there, you need to get invited. I don't know anyone on there so I simply call here to anyone who visits this site and wants to support me and who has an account, could you please invite me?! :D

Making a Mobile Site

Because more and more people nowadays are using cellphones to go into the Internet, mobile sites become more and more important. Were in Switzerland we have the highest rate of iphones and smart phones on earth (at least we had a while ago). Because of that fact I am working on the mobile site for this blog but also already made one now for the Crazy Drummers Website.

The website is still in it's β-Version. Many things are not yet on the site and many don't work too great - but overall I think it will help to fastly check something. The site can be tested at http://www.crazydrummers.ch/mobile or you can simply scan the following QR-Code.

Making such a website is hard because there are a few things you need to take care of which are quiet different from a normal website for a computer.

In Mexico - Part 7

Thursday 28th of July 2011, Jorge and me flew back to Mexico City. My plane back to Switzerland did leave at the 29th however it did go early in the morning and there was no earlier flight from Culiacán on 29th, so we already went there at the 28th and spent the last day in Mexico City again.

One thing I didn't see there so far was the castle of the first president of Mexico City. So we went to the park in which the castle reigns on top of a small hill. The castle already is impressive and the view from up there was even more stunning!

Then the night came and soon after the day to leave this beautiful country - 29th of July 2011.

I really miss it and I am sure it was not the last time I was there x3

Stay tuned, soon I'll add some more pictures and probably even videos. Now that I'm back home I have a nice computer to put together the panorama shots and cut the HD Videos XD

In Mexico - Part 6

Thursday, 21st of July 2011, we took some planes to travel from Guadalajara to Mexico City and then up north to Culiacán, the home of Jorge. This took some hours so we arrived later in the afternoon and didn't really do much that day anymore.

On Friday, 22nd of July 2011, we drove a little through the city, washed my cloths and did other nice stuff. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of that day ^^;

Then on Saturday, 23rd of July 2011, Jorge and me were invited to a bye bye Party of our friend Inesa in Los Mochis, 210km to the northwest. We took Jorge's car and I could enjoy a nice view of the landscape of Sinaloa. This state is said to be "the garden" of Mexico, because most of the fruits and vegetables produces in Mexico come from here.
