A new video appeared again on the FINAL FANTASY XIV Youtube-Channel. It's called "Eorzea ― The Making of a Realm #6".
This time, you can see an interview with the awesome Nobuo Uematsu talking about the music of FINAL FANTASY XIV!

At he beginning of the interview I was a little like "hmmm.. it's pretty hacked apart and so small answers..." but it changes during the video and at the end you can see a little how he really is like when he can speak freely ^^ He's just an awesome crazy guy! And the best composer our there I know ^^/

He did an incredible job on the soundtrack of FINAL FANTASY XIV, as far as I could hear it so far. The style is Uematsu~like but he always tries out new fresh things. And in FFXIV it fits perfectly into the scene!
I could talk about this great music all day long x3 But I guess this would show ya that I somehow could hear it already... never mind what I just wrote <_<; ...

With the E3 ongoing, SQUARE ENIX released a lot of new stuff around FINAL FANTASY XIV
SQEX also updated the FFXIV-YouTube Channel and added the latest Trailer and two interviews to it!

In the first one shows Hiromichi Tanaka describing the "new" battle system they added to the game. Since we don't even know the "old" one it doesn't actually matter lols ;D

The second video shows a demo of FFXIV over 3 screens and in 3D! :D yay ^^
But if you always need 3 monitors to play it in 3D then .. lame XD

Yesterday I found a nice interview between the Japanese site 4gamer.net, Final Fantasy XIV Producer Hiromichi Tanaka and Global Online Producer Sage Sundi. However I could only read it partially with Google-Translator. Luckily, the same interview was also found by the eorzeapedia and since they can translate Japanese to English, I can show it now here too =3

Oh and by the way, finally the official European FFXIV site also got an update. But there's nothing much more then on the NA or JP site.

I found two videos where you see Hiromichi Tanaka play the game during the interview. Kinda amusing X3

The Japanese site 4Gamer.net released an article of an interview with the producers of FFXIV.
I am not quiet sure how trustworthy this source is. But I would still like to show these news here =3

• So according to this news entry, the world is actually called Haiderin (auto-translated, may will have other name in English later). Eorzea seams to be something like a region in Haiderin.
• The five races from FFXI will be included in FFXIV. They might will have different names and different stories of course, but they will be there to make it a little more familiar for FFXI players. It's unknown yet if more will be added later, or at least they didn't want to answer hat question.
• The battle system will be real time as in FFXI or FFXII. But how exactly it will work is still unknown.
• The job system will revolve around weapons.
• The game won't be using monthly fees. They are focusing on "30 day plans" as other games in America already use. (note: I myself hear the first time about such a 30 day plan....)
• The PC version will have pretty high system requirements in order to not fall behind the PS3 version ^_^;
• The maximum population per sever will be between 5000 and 6000 players. However, maybe later this will be increased. The time will show it.

I think, I should send a mail to SE soon to get me into the beta-list X3
