SQUARE ENIX released all the entries for the latest Fan Art Contest with the theme: 8th Anniversary! As you know, I also took part (look here) but didn't win a price ^^; And when I see the winner-images, I also know why XD

However, A few of the pictures SQEX showed now are also very nice and I want to give the artists a lil more credit here!

When we announced this year's Fan Art Contest with a special 7th Anniversary theme, we fully expected our talented players across the globe to produce some truly spectacular specimens. Still, nothing could have prepared us for the veritable cornucopia of captivating masterpieces that were submitted!

After days and nights spent poring over more than four hundred highly worthy entries, our development and operations team members have selected the thirty pieces that we felt best captured the anniversary spirit while also exhibiting the highest degree of artistic expression.

After months of anticipation, we're pleased to announce that the ever-popular Fan Art Contest is making a triumphant return! Throughout the years, the Fan Art Contest has proven to be a popular creative outlet for our players, and we expect this year to be no different. To celebrate FINAL FANTASY XI entering into its seventh year of service on May 16th, the theme of this year's contest is the 7th Anniversary. Send us your masterful renditions of subjects such as "celebrating the anniversary with friends" or "the journey of adventurers throughout the years," or even share some of your treasured memories related to the contest's theme.

The winning entries for this year's Doll Festival Fan Art Contest have been selected, kupo! The moogles at the Mog House Management Union (MHMU) have painstakingly hand-picked the winners from a whopping 400-plus quality entries. With quirkily cute ladies, graciously gallant femme fatales, and bodaciously beautiful maidens of the battlefield among those who made it into the list, we've no doubt you will thoroughly enjoy this year's fan portrayals of "The Ladies of Vana'diel," kupo!
